The Arizona Federation of Teachers is dedicated to putting in place EFFECTIVE RESEARCHED-BASED alternative to suspension measures at all levels of a child's education. The school-to-prison pipeline is spreading throughout the urban environment and there are far too many inexperienced teachers and administrators unwilling or unable to effectively intervene in a student's life before it is too late.

AFT has created on online website for free lesson plans. All of these lesson plans are downloadable for you to use at your disposal. You can also upload your lesson plans to be vetted by other teachers around the nation.

The part-time unit of the VSC Faculty Federation (VSC-FF) had a successful negotiation and settled their contract with the VSC in record time. The new four-year contract was signed on July 26 by the Chancellor and the VSCFF part-time faculty bargaining co-chairs and the AFT Vermont union representative.

Overview: Our union election is just around the corner! Although a specific date has not been named, we are expecting it to be set for this fall. Currently, CCV administration and representatives of our union are discussing the details of the election process with the Vermont State Labor Relations Board. We'll keep you informed of progress on this front.

We will be able to vote YES for our CCV faculty union this fall!
